Ryan Chronister, Accountant
Ryan graduated from Hartwick College in Oneonta, New York in 2010 with Bachelor’s Degrees in Accounting and Business Administration.
He entered the public accounting industry in 2010. He performs audits, reviews, compilations and provides tax and advisory services for a wide variety of clients.
Ryan has also prepared tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, trusts, and non-profits. Ryan is a member of the New York State Society of CPAs. He is currently pursuing his CPA license.
Melissa S. Decker, Bookkeeper
Melissa joined Vieira and Associates in February 2022. She is a graduate of Deposit High School. Melissa has worked in bookkeeping for many years prior to joining the firm.
Melissa helps perform sales tax services along with bookkeeping and payroll tax services for a wide variety of clients of the firm.
Melissa resides in Kirkwood with her husband and son.
Amanda Koplik, Administrator
Amanda Koplik joined the firm in June of 2019. Mandy graduated from Whitney Point Central School and Ridley Lowell Business Institute with a certification in Administration and Office Technology.
Mandy began working as an Administrative Assistant in the Certified Public Accounting industry in 1998.
Mandy resides in Maine, NY with her husband and enjoys spending her spare time playing with her 4 grandchildren.
Lisa D. Leard, Certified Public Accountant
Lisa is a certified public accountant and a graduate of both Broome Community College and Binghamton University’s school of management. She graduated from BCC in 2004 with an A.A.S. in Accounting and Binghamton University in 2012 with a B.S. in Accounting.
She entered the public accounting industry in 2005. She has performed tax services, audit, reviews, and compilations for various clients, including for profit, not-for-profit, and governmental entities.
Lisa has experience in preparing various tax returns, including individuals, partnerships, corporations, estates, trusts, non-profit, and gift tax returns. She also performs bookkeeping services and prepares sales and payroll tax returns.
Lisa is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Michael Ryan Mattick, Certified Public Accountant, Enrolled Agent
Michael R. Mattick, CPA, EA joined the firm in 2015. He is originally from Charlotte, NC where he began working in accounting in 1996. He practiced accounting in Philadelphia for 13 years before moving to Port Crane, NY in 2015. He also served as Chief Financial Officer for a Jet Charter Company in Pompano Beach, FL. Mike specializes in taxation. He also performs compilations, reviews and audits. In addition to aviation he has worked with clients in various industries including real estate, legal, medical, automobile and boat dealers, construction, manufacturing, retail and non-profits.
He is a QuickBooks ProAdvisor and has extensive experience in implementing accounting systems using QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online. He also provides training in both programs.
Mike is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, The National Association of Enrolled Agents and the New York State Society of Enrolled Agents. He also serves as an officer for the Southern Tier Chapter of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Melissa A. Morse, Accountant
Melissa Morse is a graduate of SUNY Oneonta with a B.S. in Accounting. Melissa entered public accounting in 2000 with a local CPA firm. She joined Vieira & Associates CPAs, P.C. in January 2016.
She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accounts. Melissa is a past Treasurer of The Discovery Center of the Southern Tier and currently serves as the Treasurer for the Vestal Lacrosse Booster Club where her son plays lacrosse.
i. She entered the public accounting industry in 2000. She has performed tax services, compilations and, reviews for wide variety of clients. She also has experience with payroll and sales tax as well as bookkeeping services.
Melissa currently resides in Endicott, New York with her two children.
Noor A. Nazer, CPA, MBA
Noor is a certified public accountant who graduated from Binghamton University’s School of Management. She graduated in 2018 with a B.S. in accounting, in 2019, with an M.S. in Accounting, and in 2020 with an MBA. She entered public accounting in 2019 at a local CPA firm and joined Vieira & Associates in 2021.
Noor performs audits, reviews, compilations and provides tax return preparation services to a variety of clients. Noor is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Macen Raupers, Accountant
Macen graduated from Mansfield University in 2017 with a B.S. Business Administration concentrated in Accounting. After graduation, he worked as a Cost Accountant at JELD-WEN until 2020. Following his departure from JELD-WEN, he began his career in public accounting.
Macen performs audits, reviews and compilations for wide variety of for profit and not for profit clients. In addition, he prepares tax returns, including individuals, partnerships, corporations, and non-profits.
Macen is a member of the Athens Soccer Academy where he coaches young individuals. When he’s not coaching, he enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with family and friends. He is currently pursuing his CPA license.
Mark Vieira, Certified Public Accountant
E. Mark Vieira, CPA, is a 1964 graduate of Bloomsburg State College and received a Master of Science in Business Administration degree in 1965 from Bucknell University.
Mr. Vieira has over 40 years experience in accounting and taxation for both profit and non-profit businesses and organizations. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accounts and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants. Mr. Vieira is also licensed in the state of South Carolina.
Mr. Vieira is a past president of Southern Tier Chapter of the New York State Society of CPAs.
In his spare time he enjoys golfing, cheering on the Penn State football team and visiting his grandchildren in Philadelphia.
